Ashland, Virginia, October 7th: What’s darker than a black steer's tucus on a moonless prairie night and smoother than a perfect strike on the lanes? El Duderino White Russian Milk Stout of course. To celebrate its 2014 release and the beginning of RVA Beer Week, Center of the Universe has three far out events planned that would be totally un-dude to miss.
November 1st: Brewery Release Party
Scoop up the limited edition screen printed bottles and enjoy a pint on site as you take in the tunes of the Royal We and snack on local fare from food trucks. What better way to enjoy a Saturday, than with your long lost friend, El Duderino?!
* There is a 4 bottle per person limit on the initial release as there have only been 2,000 of the bottles produced. Due to the limited production of El Duderino, growler fills will not be permitted.
November 3rd: Jackass Flats at the Broadberry Release Party
El Duderino strolls out of the brewery in into Richmond for the first time as The Broadberry plays host to The Jackass Flats. As part of the show, The Jackass Flats will be playing the entire soundtrack to The Big Lebowski. There will also be an appearance from the "The Dude," the barrel aged version of El Duderino. Enjoy various COTU brews, incredible music, and great food, all in one place. Advanced tickets are encouraged and can be purchased HERE. The show starts at 8pmand tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
November 7th: The Big LeBYRDski
COTU has partnered up with The Byrd Theater Foundation to bring you one of the most incredible evenings of entertainment, ever. The Byrd Theater will be screening The Big Lebowski as well as serving up El Duderino and other COTU brews. ALL PROCEEDS from the event go to The Byrd Theaters' "Journey to the Seats" fund. Doors open at 7pm and the movie begins at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance through Eventbrite and $15 at the door starting at 7pm on the 7th.
Inspired by slackers, sweaters, eccentric friends and exotic drinks El Duderino White Russian Milk Stout took a year to perfect. The final masterpiece pours midnight black and is capped with a tan pillowy head. Eight different malts and whole vanilla beans create flavors of chocolate and espresso, offering a perfect way to mellow out after a rough set on the lanes.
