    You can't judge a book by it's cover and you can't judge a beer that shows up for a radio show in a box marked 'Artificial Crab Meat - Product of Thailand'!

    Laren Avery's 'Morning Gourd' pumpkin coffee hefeweizen is a fine blend of clovey, roasty coffee with a refreshingly subtle hint, just a hint, of 'punkin'! Good beer!

    Great interview. Wandering Willow Brewing Company is up to some interesting things--I'm going to make it a point to find their beer and give it a try.

    If Laren Avery is this creative with his brewing, he's got a long and storied career ahead of him. Best wishes to both him and Wandering Willow!
