Dogfish Head Expands Indiana Distribution

image From our pal Sam Calagione at Dogfish Head:

Last December, after a two-year hiatus, we started dipping our Dogfish toes back in Indiana. Now we’re doing a full-on cannonball and getting our off-centered ales to the rest of the state.

The latest wholesalers to be appointed in Indiana are Zink Distributing in Indianapolis, Mid America Beverage in Kokomo, Best Beers in Bloomington and North Vernon Beverage in North Vernon.

“It takes time to find the right partners,” says Dogfish Head Founder and President Sam Calagione. “I’m excited that we’re going deep in Indiana with the help of these four top-notch distributors.”

Trucks bound for the new markets will be leaving Delaware next week, and beer will begin appearing on shelves and taps the week of Oct. 13. Look for 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, Indian Brown Ale, Midas Touch, Palo Santo Marron, Burton Baton, Tweason’ale, Namaste and several limited releases.

To find Dogfish Head beers in your area, try the Fish Finder. You can search by beer and by ZIP code, and the Fish Finder will tell you where shipments have dropped in the past 60 days.

In addition to shipping beer, we’ll also be shipping out a few Dogfish co-workers for launch events. Starting Oct. 13, we’ll be pouring our off-centered ales and sharing our beer-infused brats at events in Indianapolis and elsewhere. Watch dogfish.com for details.

Dogfish Head is also now back in Rhode Island, Wisconsin and parts of Tennessee, where we expect to be statewide in the coming months. Thank you for all of your patience and support!
