Here’s your very first look at the newest release (No 23) coming soon to the Avery Barrel-Aged Series of beers. This is Antonius’ Carmen and it is a Madeira barrel-aged sour ale and it will use dark Belgian candy sugar as well as Sacchromyces, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and pediococcus. This beer will be a limited run of 247 cases of 12oz bottles (that were bottled on 9/9/2014) and it will come in at 7.72% ABV. Look for a Brewery-Only release of 175 cases shared with 72 cases hoarded.
