From Marriot:

CHICAGO, Feb.6, 2014--Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile is proud to announce the return of their delicious "Roof Top Honey Wheat" beer. This brew is produced using actual honey from the roof top bee hives located atop the hotel in downtown Chicago, IL.

The hotel partnered with the award-winning Brickstone Brewery to craft this exclusive beer.

The hotel has a proud history of producing this beer and is very excited to return to the original recipe first produced in 2008. The culinary operations of Harvest Restaurant and RUSH Bar, headed by Executive Chef Myk Banas, produce delicious cuisine featuring local and seasonal ingredients from the Midwest.

"This Roof Top Honey Wheat Beer is a great way for us to showcase our culinary mission to our guests," says Chef Banas. "We're excited to make this beer with honey from our very own rooftop – it doesn't get more local that that!"

The beer is described as a flavorful and refreshing wheat beer made with a light Munich malt, honey malt and local honey. Warrior and Mt. Hood hops add a crisp finish. At 6.2 percent ABV, it features honey aromas followed by a robust honey flavor. Brickstone Brewery first opened their doors in 2006 and has an impressive resume of awards. Guests can visit their brewery and restaurant in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

Roof Top Honey Wheat is available exclusively on draft at dining outlets inside Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile hotel.
