Stone Brewing Posts RFP for NEW East Coast / Midwest Facility

image This is just a Request For Proposal (RFP) but I’m voting Northeastern PA!  This from Stone Brewing:

In 2014, Stone intends to break ground to start development of its eastern production operations, intended to located within the Midwest to East Coast portion of the United States within advantageous distribution and manufacturing locations.

Beyond a pure focus on creating innovative, fresh craft beer of the highest quality,
Stone Brewing Company
follows two additional operating tenets; to create a superior, engaging experience for our customers and to be an integral, beneficial member of the community.

Our operations facility will feature a full-production brewery, packaging and distribution operations with various administrative support which will serve to produce beer to be distributed in the Midwest to East Coast Boundaries as well as for export. Our World Bistro & Gardens, retail and potential other operations will follow. Once developed, the World Bistro and Gardens outside area will be beautifully landscaped where visitors will be able to enjoy craft beer, dine, and enjoy our gardens. The entire operation will be staffed with local employees and we strive to source all materials locally. We seek to establish local business relationships with all necessary partners to initiate and conduct business in the selected location and with relevant nearby universities to engage in talent and industry development, student internships and potential lab/research initiatives as we do in San Diego, California.

Stone Brewing Co. has come a long way since we opened in 1996. We have grown from a small microbrewery with just two founders into the tenth-largest craft brewery in the United States, employing nearly 900 amazing men and women. Stone beers are now distributed in 40 states and seven countries.

From the beginning, our goal has been to brew outstanding, unique beers while maintaining an unwavering commitment to sustainability, business ethics, and the art of brewing.

We don’t just make beer; we make craft beer. That means we’re independently owned, comparatively small, and use traditional brewing methods and ingredients. We focus exclusively on making distinctive, high-quality beers that taste nothing like mass-produced lagers.

The purpose of this booklet is to acquaint you with our concept and serve as a Request For Proposal for a new Stone Brewing Co. location East of the Mississippi. If you believe your community has the right combination of elements to be the new Eastern home of the Stone Brewing Co., we invite you to provide a proposal.

We thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you!
