Craft Beer Community Mourns Loss of SweetWater’s Curtis McArthur

Sad SweetWater news coming from Straight To Ale:

Extremely sad news today - the craft beer community has lost a great friend. Curtis McArthur (TN Sales Manager for SweetWater Brewing) died in a tragic accident yesterday. He will be missed beyond belief. Curtis was a great friend to all and a just great person. Please join us in sending thoughts and prayers to all of his family and friends. RIP Curtis.

As an update coming from Curtis’ sister Catherine on Facebook:

"Curtis fell off the side of a ledge late last night in Atlanta. He was happily intoxicated for New Years. Our family is so happy to see all the friends that he had with his time here. He will always be missed."

Such a dear friend with such an absolute positive attitude on life. So sad to hear this. He had such a big heart and a beautiful smile and always a big ol hug for me. What a friend !!!!

A great friend to my son Ryan Davenport. I will always remember Curtis bringing Ryan home when he couldn't drive due to a severe eye infection. My prayers go out to his family and girlfriend Sara
