WILMINGTON, DE – For 12 hours daily beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27, beer lovers will gather at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant for their Gobble Gobble Growler Grab, a perfect way to bring their craft beers home for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Throughout the day, guests can purchase a glass growler for $4.75 and fill it with house beer for $13; seasonal beers will also be available, though pricing will vary.  The 64-ounce jugs are ideal for sharing, and allow beer lovers to take home a taste of Iron Hill’s award-winning beers to enjoy with their Thanksgiving Day feast.  The brewery will be filling growlers nightly until 11 p.m.

“As a company, we close on Thanksgiving Day so that all of our employees can celebrate with their families – but that doesn’t mean that our fans and friends shouldn’t be able to enjoy a pint of our beer with their turkey!” says Director of Brewing Operations Mark Edelson.  “Growlers are designed to keep draught beer crisp and fresh, so they’re great for bringing home a taste of the brewery to toast the holiday.”

Iron Hill’s wide variety of house beers includes something for just about any beer lover:  Vienna Red Lager is a European-style amber lager with delicate malt aroma, slight sweetness and a clean, crisp finish;  Pig Iron Porter is a classic porter that is dark and full of roasted malt flavor;  and Ironbound Ale is a medium-bodied American pale ale with significant hop additions.  Pumpkin Ale, the brewery’s wildly popular harvest offering, will be available in limited quantities starting on Wednesday, November 27, at all locations. Other seasonal favorites will vary by location; contact them directly for more information, including pricing.
