Eye Ball

Add a description
Inspired by a ginger and rye whiskey highball. This mead measures in at about 17% ABV. We used fresh peeled ginger and raw Michigan wildflower honey to ferment this mead, and then aged it in rye whiskey barrels.

This is the mad creation of Ian Radogost-Givens, meadmaker extraordinaire and partner at B. Netkar. Keep an eye out for his creations. He will soon be leading up our experiMental B-Sides series, and our barrel series.

3 barrels made. This will only be available at the taproom.

Release date: Mid-November

A Price Drop is Coming!!

Last year, Michigan was hit with some very early thaws that ended up destroying most of the apple and cherry crop. So, to acquire enough ingredients, we had to pay top dollar to keep bringing you Zombie Killer. As a result, prices for Zombie Killer went up about $1 per bottle. This years crop was excellent, so prices are back to normal. We're very pleased to announce (as promised) that prices are coming back down.

Also, as a result of our recent expansion we're purchasing more ingredients and raw materials than ever, so our costs have been dropping. Also, doing larger batches takes nearly the same amount of time as smaller ones, so our labor costs per bottle are way down. So, we've decided to pass the savings on to you and extend the price drop across the entire draft mead product line. This includes Zombie Killer, Black Fang, and Necromangocon (as well as future releases in this line). Our traditional meads, barrel series, and B-Sides continue to be very expensive to make, so prices on those will not change.

You can expect these new prices to start to go into effect around the beginning of November, but each market will vary. This will also impact keg prices. So ask your favorite bar to pick up some of our delicious craft meads. This in NO way means that we're using cheaper ingredients. We will continue to source only the finest ingredients available.
