East End Strip District Growler Shop Moving

From East End:

As you may have heard, The Pittsburgh Public Market is moving to a new location in The Strip District. Of course, this means that our Growler Shop in the market is moving too. In fact, this past weekend (Sept 13-15)was the last weekend for the Pittsburgh Public Market in its original Terminal Building home.

But the new space at 2401 Penn Ave. isn't quite ready for us yet, nor are we quite ready for you to come there either. So where exactly can you fill your Growlers during the transition?

During this transition, we will make good use of our location along the back wall of the Terminal Building, and THE BACK DOOR OF OUR BOOTH WILL REMAIN OPEN for Growler Service, and regular Public Market Growler Hours will continue.

There will be signs on the entrance to the Public Market, reminding you of this change, and directing you to the back dock.

This is a little more "rustic" than we are used to, but it's the best way we can conjure up to keep the beer flowing during the transition, which we hope to have complete by early October of this year (2013), PLCB Licensing not withstanding.

This is a good move to a better building in a better location for all of us. But like anything worth doing, it will take some work, some time, and a bit of GOOD BEER along the way. So thank you in advance for your patience during this transition. And I hope that you'll manage to find us around back, and in the new space when we land there!

...Because we have a few improvements in store for you there as well.

Cheers - Scott
