This morning we get to see the sixth release coming from the Boulevard Brewing Smokestack Series. This beer is simply called Bourbon Barrel Quad 2013, but it’s more than just that. This beer is 16% Ale, and 84% Ale aged in bourbon barrels with cherries. Bourbon Barrel Quad is based on the Smokestack Series Sixth Glass and it is an abbey-style quad. Look for Bourbon Barrel Quad to be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at 11.8% ABV.
