Exciting news for our pal Garrett Oliver from Brooklyn Brewery as the new Biergarten opens at LaGuardia airport. Details from Eater:
Last week, Delta's Terminal C at LaGuardia International quietly unveiled its newest restaurant, the 2,900-square-foot Biergarten. The focus here is, of course, on the beer, with a solid list selected by Brooklyn Brewery's master brewer Garrett Oliver that features craft beers from across the globe and local brews like Blue Point Summer Ale from Long Island, Bronx Pale Ale, Greenport Black Duck Porter, and Ommegang Hennepin. (Plus, of course, a pair of Brooklyn beers.) The food menu leans German—because it's a biergarten—with sandwiches and entrées in the teens, small plates like "Knocks in a Blanket," and five different sausage options. Like the JetBlue terminal at JFK and the other terminals run by the company OTG, the space's industrial feel was designed by the firm Icrave.
