From MLive:
Now the company virtuecider.com is ready to press, ferment, keg and ship about 200,000 gallons of its Virtue Brand cider this year.
“We’ve got our Michigan licenses and just signed on with Kent Beverage of Grand Rapids to be our distributor,” said Hall, whose father, John Hall, founded Goose Island in 1988. The company was sold to Anheuser-Busch in 2011 for $38.8 million.
Right now, the company is primarily producing the draft ciders for barrel sales to restaurants and bars. It will also be opening a tasting room on May 1 at Virtue Farms, 2170 62nd St. in Fennville, where you can buy the cider by the bottle.
