From Union Craft Brewing:

(Baltimore, MD) — Union Craft Brewing Company today announced the release of its two flagship craft beers in 12oz cans, Duckpin Pale Ale & the 2012 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winning Balt Altbier. These beers have become staples on draft at many Baltimore area bars & restaurants, and will be available in 12oz cans at local Baltimore city retailers this week, and throughout Maryland and Washington DC in the next few weeks.

Additionally, the brewing company has acquired three new 60 barrel tanks, increasing brewing capacity by 75%.

“Since day one, we have been working hard to get our beer in cans and into the hands of our local beer drinkers”, said Co-Founder, Adam Benesch. “By adding these new tanks, we can now produce enough beer to accommodate the growing demand of our draft and retail accounts.”

Co-Founder, Jon Zerivitz adds, “The can is the perfect package for our beer. It removes the threat of light and oxygen from affecting the quality of the beer and it can go places that glass cannot. We’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of the cans and are very excited to have them out in the Baltimore market.”
