It’s no secret the River North brew team has a love affair with Belgian yeast. They’re always trying new combinations and bending style boundaries. But every once in a while, you have to pay homage to your roots.
Introducing the River North Dubbel!
The second in River North’s foray into traditional Abbey-style brews (Quandary Quadrupel being the first), River North Dubbel delivers the dark fruit notes typical of monastic dark beers, backed by a seductive malty complexity and subtle sweetness. Deep yet quaffable, River North Dubbel clocks in at 7.4% ABV, offering rich complexity to match its continental counterparts.
River North Dubbel will debut Saturday, April 20th, at 1pm in the Denver taproom, located at 2401 Blake Street. Both draft pours and bombers-to-go will be available. Eighty cases were bottled in total, the remainder of which will ship to Denver Metro-area stores the following week.
That leaves only two unexplored Abbey-styles, tripel and enkel (single), opening the possibility for future creations.
