Philadelphia, PA - Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia and award-winning craft brewery Dock St   Brewing Co. are proud to announce a second year of collaborations for the exclusive “Beer Four All Seasons” series. The 2013 collaboration kicks off with the spring brew, Oats Pomegranate Yum, or O.P. Yum.  O.P. Yum is the first of four seasonal beers planned to be jointly brewed this year in the collaboration between Four Seasons Hotel and Dock Street. The beers will be produced in limited quantity each season and available exclusively at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.

O.P. Yum was brewed with wheat, oats and pomegranate; a melodic trio for a refreshing session brew with interesting complexity and soft, creamy mouthfeel. Pomegranate creates a rosy appearance with a tart and drying finish.

“We are excited to collaborate again this year with our friends at Dock Street Brewing Co. for our Beer Four All Seasons series,” says Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia Food & Beverage Director, Tomas Vlasek. “The city of Philadelphia is renowned for its craft beer and we are proud to be a part of this exciting industry.”

Rosemarie Certo, owner of Dock Street Brewery, whose original location was next door to Four Seasons Hotel at 2 Logan Square, shares in the excitement of a second year of collaborations.  “I love combining our creative energy with the Four Seasons’ talented team. This year unfurls another remarkable lineup and we are kicking it off with one of my favorite fruits. Pomegranate represents abundance and prosperity, a perfect chime for a rousing spring beer.”

O.P.Yum is available for sale beginning Wednesday, April 17 in The Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.

Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia and Dock Street Brewing Co. are planning three more collaboration beers in 2013: a summer beer that will launch during Philadelphia Beer Week in June; a fall brew that will be a special celebration style in recognition of Four Seasons’ 30th Anniversary in September; and a winter beer released in December. Where possible, the beers will include herbs and fruits grown in the hotel’s rooftop garden.

Four Seasons Hotel Philadephia is located at One Logan Square in the heart of Philadelphia’s cultural museum district on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.   For more information, please visit fourseasons.com/Philadelphia.
