BridgePort Creates Facebook Contest To Name New Hillsboro Hops Beer Name

We brought you the news that BridgePort was named the official beer of Hillsboro Hops Baseball…now it looks like BridgePort will be brewing a special beer for the Hops and you get to pick the name of Facebook.  Details

the Bridgeport’s Facebook thread:

"Not only are we making a special brew for Oregon’s newest baseball team, The Hillsboro Hops, but we need your help in naming it.

Here’s what we know – it's a light bodied summer time-style brew. Triple-hopped using Cascades in the kettle, Sterlings in the Hopjack, and a new variety called Meridians as a dry hop at the end of fermentation. (5% ABV, 28 IBUs). 

Extra points for names that are baseball themed and the name can’t already be taken by another beer from another brewery."
