BridgePort Named Official Beer of Hillsboro Hops Baseball w/Special Beer

BridgePort Brewing will now be the official beer of the Hillsboro Hops baseball team…and there will be a special keg-only beer brewed fir the stadium.  Details from OregonLive:

So Wecker, BridgePort Brewing Company's Regional Sales Manager, reached out to Hillsboro Hops General Manager K.L. Wombacher to gauge the team's interest in working together.

The interest was mutual, and Wombacher and the franchise announced a three-year agreement with the brewery on Wednesday.

The vision: bright summer days, BridgePort's name and logos throughout the ballpark, a BridgePort beer garden off the first base line, and a special beer recipe exclusively for the short-season Class A club.

"We'll have our entire portfolio within the stadium," Wecker said.

Jeff Edgerton, BridgePort Brewmaster, said they're already tinkering with recipes for the Hops brand brew.
