Tootsie’s Brewery Set To Open in Michigan

Tootsie’s brewery is coming to Grass Lake Twp MI….details from Mlive:

Kip and Dennise Barber, owners of Lone Oak Vineyard Estate in Grass Lake Township, plan to open a new brewery at the same location this spring.

“There’s a lot of people who have a much more sophisticated palate and they are really gravitating toward the craft beer,” Kip Barber said. “People are wanting different styles and different tastes.”

He plans to serve close to seven beers. They also plan to serve dishes like gourmet pizza and chili. People will be able to buy beer and wine at the location, 8400 Ann Arbor Road.

It will be called Tootsie’s Brewery in honor of Kip Barber’s mother Katurah, who passed away last spring. Everyone called her Tootsie, Barber said.
