Some good news for Colorado residents today as Breckenridge is confirming they have signed contract on property for their new brewery…and they WILL remain in Colorado.  Details from Eric Gorski @ The Denver Post:

After a lengthy and sometimes frustrating process, Breckenridge Brewery is under contract on property for a new brewery site that will allow it to remain in Colorado and initially triple its existing capacity.

Breckenridge-Wynkoop LLC president Ed Cerkovnik confirmed the imminent deal today. He declined to identify the location or discuss specifics, saying an announcement will come in the next week or two.

UPDATE 12 Jan from the Coloradoan:

Breckenridge-Wynkoop LLC, the joint venture between the Breckenridge Brewery and the Wynkoop Brewery, are under contract to buy the former Beach House location at 125 S. College Ave. in Old Town, company president Ed Cerkovnik said Saturday.

The deal is expected to close the first week of February, with a restaurant opening expected sometime during the summer.
