The original story on this beer is here (and here) and now word comes from the Baltimore Sun that Stillwater Artisanal Ales Lower Dens is available now:
In other Stillwater news, the first "Stillwater Sensory Series" collaboration is on sale now. Inspired by the 12-minute song "In the End is the Beginning" by Baltimore indie-rock band Lower Dens, the beer is the result of Strumke and the quartet discussing how music can influence beer. The label will feature a QR code (scannable with most smartphones) that will lead customers to an exclusive performance of the song. For more details, check out this post I wrote back in September when the collaboration was first announced.
Strumke says the beer -- titled "Stillwater Sensory Series Vol. 1 Lower Dens" -- arrived at the Maryland distributor this week, and "should be popping up at the usual Stillwater outlets." It's currently on sale at Of Love and Regret, the Wine Source (3601 Elm Ave. in Hampden), Wells Discount Liquors (6310 York Road in Cedarcroft), Dawson's Liquor (589 Baltimore and Annapolis Trail in Severna Park) and more.
