The Brooklyn Brewery "There Will Be Black” event is still on, only now it will benefit hurricane relief in The Rockaways. This is an invitation release only….details from Brooklyn Brewery:
There Will Be Black turned out to be a timely name, considering the power outages and general havoc that Hurricane Sandy and her Frankenstorm have wreaked on New York City and the surrounding area. Yes, we're still celebrating the release of our latest beer on Monday. But we're also using this opportunity to help our friends and neighbors in The Rockaways, which was so devastated. If you're able, please make it out to The Brewery and bring either a $10 donation or an item from this list that our pals the Brooklyn Kitchen put together. The Kitchen is already collecting these goods and distributing them to people in need in The Rockaways.
