Former East End Brewhouse For Sale On eBay--Bids Start @ $35K

imageHere’s something you don’t bump into on eBay very often…an entire 10bbl Brewhouse.  This one is the former East End Brewing equipment and yes the starting bid is $35K.  From the eBay auction:

For sale is the following:

"Roskamp" 2-Roller Mill, Grist Case, Grist Auger and motor (controlled from brewhouse panel via VFD), Grain chute to Hydrator.

"Pub Brewing Systems" Copper jacketed Hot Liquor Tank (former brew kettle): 3 phase electric (all elements recently replaced), control panel with timer.

Hot Liquor Pump, motor, and starter (controlled from brewhouse panel). Associated hard piping to and from the brewhouse.

1996 "New World Brewing System" Skid-mounted 10bbl Brewhouse, consisting of...

  • Mash/Lauter Tun: insulated, jacketed, but unheated.
  • Kettle/Whirlpool: direct fired 400k BTU gas burner (both vent stacks included)
  • 2hp Brewhouse Pump: VFD controlled (VFD = Variable Frequency Drive)
  • Plate & Frame counter flow heat exchanger (we chill with city water)
  • Grist hydrator, Grant, Oxygenation stone, sight glasses.

"G&D" Glycol Chiller: New compressor, new pump, new fan motor... virtually everything on this unit has been replaced (twice for the compressor and the fans) with the exception of the coil and the reservoir. Currently, one of the two fans on the unit does not operate. Please consider this unit a bonus item, free with the purchase of our brewhouse system, and a cheap way to get your operation started…
