We regret to inform you that the computer system at Portsmouth Brewery has failed in a significant way and, as a result, we are unable to open for business today. Our food, beer, staff and building are just fine, but without this crucial system, we can't do what we do best, which is to host and serve you all.
The crash took place part way through the day on Saturday and, as of the writing of this email hasn't been solved, though we are doing our best.
While restaurants operated for decades without computers, we learned that we simply aren't able to do that after attempting it on Saturday. We apologize for the inconvenience, particularly on a holiday weekend when we know that many folks like to stop in while traveling to and from their holiday destinations.
When we have updates and when the system is back up and running, we'll let you know, not only through this email list but also on our Facebook page.
