Ever wanted to ask Greg Koch, Sam Calagione or Bill Covaleski a question about the Stone /Dogfish Head / Victory co-Brewed Saison du BUFF….well now you can on 7/26. Details from Stone:
Had a chance to try Stone Brewing Co.'s latest collaboration beer, Dogfish Head / Victory / Stone Saison du BUFF? Did you get to try each brewery's version, or the batches they brewed back in 2010? Want to get the full story behind each of them, straight from the source?
On July 26th from 6-7pm Pacific, Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Bill Covaleski from Victory Brewing Company, and Greg Koch from Stone Brewing Co. are hosting a Google+ Hangout! What's a Google+ hangout? It's a live video stream which will allow all three brewers—and the illustrious Wil Wheaton as moderator—to taste through each brewery's versions of this hellaciously herbaceous beer, and you're invited to tune in! They'll also talk about how this beer came to be, with a look at the industry as a whole and the great sense of camaraderie and collaboration that exists between craft brewers. They'll also be answering questions from viewers like yourself via the hashtag #HangBUFF on Twitter and Google+.
It's their first go at something like this, and it looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun! So, whaddya say? Are you able to join them for this virtual toast?
Watch LIVE on Thursday, July 26th from 6-7pm Pacific at Stone's Google+ page: http://gplus.to/StoneBrewingCo. The video stream will automatically load at the top of the page once the feed goes live. Additional details can be found at http://bit.ly/hangBUFF
Two anticipated FAQ's:
1) No, you do NOT need a Google+ account to tune in; it streams just like a YouTube video.
2) If for some strange reason you can't watch it in the moment, it WILL be archived on Stone's YouTube channel for you to check out anytime, though they'll want a note from your parent or guardian excusing you from the live broadcast.
