So, some of you may remember that about a year and a half ago, we made coffee mead that was aged in a bourbon barrel. Well, last October our co-founder Brad drove his piece of junk car to Chicago to meet with the head of Goose Island’s barrel program. He returned (on the roof of his car) with a coveted barrel that was used to age their Bourbon County Stout. We then aged the coffee mead in this barrel until just recently. Welcome, the Dark Dark Goose. $25 / 375ml.

Once upon a time, there was a mead that just kept fermenting. At 19%, this is one of our strongest meads to date. This wildflower mead was aged in a rye whiskey barrel for a long, long time. Be careful not to awaken The Sleeping Giant. $25 / 375ml.

IPA-Style Mead

With our usual complete disregard for convention, tradition, and good sense, the mad meadmakers at B. Nektar have engineered yet another weird creation:

Evil Genius IPA-style mead.

Meant to pay tribute to our favorite IPAs, we mixed wildflower honey with 3 kinds of hops to create a glorious draft elixir that will completely alter your consciousness.

6% ABV, $9.99 per 500 ml bottle.

We are scheduled to bottle more Evil Genius right before Mead Fest, so get yours then
