Odell–“Decon Struction” (Deconstruction Ale)

image

\Here’s an interesting label from Odell Brewing that contains more info than we typically see on a blended beer label.  “Decon Struction” is a 750ml bottle that is a blend of 58% Ale and 42% Ale aged in wine barrels.  The final Golden Ale is “created by blending the final recipe with it’s own barrel aged pilot beer fermented with wild yeasts and lacto.  Each individual barrel contributes a unique flavor from the wood chosen and the cultures resident to achieve subtle complexities that develop(ed) over time.”  This big boy is 10.5% ABV and be sure to read the red notes on the label.
