Frankenmuth Brewery is hosting the Michigan Bier Celebration on July 21st…and following the pattern of others like Sam Adams, they’ll be releasing their 2012 Oktoberfest Lager in July.  Details from MLive:


FRANKENMUTH, MI — Oktoberfest may be in September in both Germany and Frankenmuth, but the Marzen-style lager release is weeks closer. 

To welcome the seasonal beer, the Frankenmuth Brewery is hosting the first Michigan Bier Celebration.
