Good news from Liquid Hero (via ydr.com):
York, PA - Starting today, customers at Liquid Hero Brewery will now be able to sit down and relax at the 50 E. North St. business with a pint and a hot dog.
The York business recently upgraded their liquor license from a manufacturer permit to a "Brewery Pub" license, which allow the business to serve in-house pints in addition to the company's growlers, said Matt DePrato, a co-owner of the business.
The license requires the brewery to sell a food item along with the alcohol, so the business will be selling hot dogs and potato chips, DePrato said. However, the menu may expand.
"One step at a time," he said.
The pint and food sales will create a more social atmosphere in the brewery, which is also installing televisions so customers can watch sporting events and other programming while they eat and drink, DePrato said.
Business has been going "much better than we ever expected," DePrato said and in the future the brewery is looking into having live music events, drink specials and possibly bottling their beer.
"This is just another step toward expanding our facility and reach," he said.
