Minnesota Bill May Allow Schell’s Brewing to Maintain Production

The Minnesota legislature is considering a bill that will raise the barrel-limit qualifications  for breweries to receive a tax credit.  Currently the limit is set to 100,000bbl and the proposal will raise it to 250,000bbl.  Schell’s Brewing is currently bumping over the 100,000bbl mark (130,000bbl) and would have to produce significantly more beer to make up for the lost tax credit should they go much further beyond 100,000bbl.  For more details from TwinCities.com click HERE.
