Twisted Pine – Ghost Face Killah World’s Spiciest Beer

image
Twisted Pine Brewing gained label approval for Ghost Face Killah back in March 2011 (and released bottles in Colorado only), but now comes word that this amped up version of Billy’s Chilies is now the worlds spiciest beer and it will be distributed to 7 states (Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Florida, Nebraska, Louisiana & Missouri.  Ghost Face Killah starts it’s brewing life as a wheat ale and from there the guys add in 6 different varieties of chili peppers including the Ghost pepper (aka Bhut Jolokia -200x the heat of Jalapenos), Serrano, jalapeno, habanero, Fresno & Anaheim…and thankfully the “hottest beer this side of hell” is only packaged in 12oz bottles.  According to the Twisted Pine Blog, the brewers had to wear masks & gloves when brewing the beer.

  1. I wish this was available in my area. It would make a great addition to my line of "hot" beer jellies. Thanks for the post.

  2. Me too Bill. I'm not a hot beer fan but I'd be curious to try it. Much like the Terrapin/Schmaltz Reunion ale.
