Here’s a new beer with a simple name…Harpoon Brewing Dark.  This new brew uses “a blend of specialty malts” and will be packaged in 22oz bottles.  Looks like it has a subtle chocolate flavor and subtle hop presence too.  Can’t wait to try this one.

    What a concept! A brand name and followed by a beer style! Brilliant! I wonder why more brewers cant figure this out and instead call their beer every dumb nondescript non sequitur name you cant think of.

    So what should they have caled it gpk? It's tough when lots of styles and names are reserved before you even brew the beer. Are you unhappy with the beer...or the name?
