Anheuser-Busch - Shock Top Lemon Shandy CANS

Here’s a pretty interesting new version of Shock Top coming out of Anheuser-Busch called Lemon Shandy.  This “Belgian-Style wheat beer brewed with spices and with natural lemonade flavor added” is 4.2% ABV and it will be packaged in 12oz CANS.  This is a new package for Shock Top so it should be interesting to see how that works out.  The same beer was also approved today in 12oz bottles and 12oz bottles labeled with the 3.2% ABW for the blue-law states.  Looks like a Spring 2012 release for this new brew.

    Gee what a shock A-B releasing a wheat/fruit beer. I really expected them to release a stout, porter, scottish ale, double IPA. NOT!
