Yuengling Oktoberfest to Premier Sept 16 in Wilkes-Barre

Yuengling Brewing Co., Pottsville, will unveil a new brew, Oktoberfest seasonal brew, Sept. 16 to 18 at the first Pennsylvania Oktoberfest at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County.
Yuengling still is in the process of developing the beer.  Oktoberfest will bring the Yuengling product line to nine, the company said.

  1. I guess they're 'unveiling' it here, but I tried it last weekend at the Ithaca Brew Fest.

    A little sweet, malty. I don't guess Oktoberfests are supposed to be very hoppy. This one isn't.

    I like Yuengling lager if it's the most adventurous beer on the menu. Their Oktoberfest would fit that category!

  3. It's currently on tap at shady mcgradys in harrisburg.

    "not very hoppy." Yeah, i should hope not for an oktoberfest... it's not a troegs beer after all.
