Dock Street Celebrates Four Years of Great Beer & Hoppiness in West Philly!
PHILADELPHIA, PA- On August 22nd, 2011 celebrate Dock Street Brewery & Restaurant’s 4th Anniversary of beer and pizza goodness at the brewpub in the venerable firehouse on 50th & Baltimore in West Philly. In honor of our birthday, we are tapping a single keg of a very special Flemish Sour that has been aging in Pinot Noir barrels for two-and-a-half years.
A pioneer in the microbrewing industry in 1985, Dock Street Brewery continues to push the envelopes today with small batch, inspired brews including the Philadelphia favorite- Dock Street Rye IPA, Man Full of Trouble Porter, Satellite Coffee Stout, Sexy Beast Chocolate Stout and Prisoner of Hell. The Dock Street West Philly reincarnation has its hand in a series of well-received, barrel-aged 750ml limited bottle releases. Most notable of these releases: Dock Street Barrel-Aged Barley Wine and Dock Street All-Brett Saison. The Sour Red will soon make its way on this list. Our birthday is a perfect occasion to break out a keg and wet your whistles. So mark your calendars, spread the word and come share Dock Street Flemish Sour with us. It’s All in Your Head!
