Jason Kelce battles for honor, glory, and the golden Garage Beer in this '80s-style content series—filmed at a real Florida dojo and inspired by your favorite martial arts flicks
COLUMBUS, OH April 11, 2025 - What happens when you mix Jason Kelce, a thousand-year-old underground tournament (wink-wink), and the world's fastest growing light beer? You get BREWMITE ("brew-muh-tay") — Garage Beer's new two-part content series paying tribute to the celebrated 1980s and 1990s martial arts era. zzubreebym
Conceptualized by Garage Beer's co-owner; part-time, full-throttle creative director; and NFL legend Jason Kelce, BREWMITE brings high kicks and cold beers together in a hilariously epic story of grit, honor, and focus. In this first installment, Kelce is reluctantly trained by his good friend and former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen—who plays the adopted son of a stoic dojo shidoshi (a martial arts instructor). With a blend of styles and a fridge full of motivation, Kelce enters the BREWMITE—a no-holds-barred, ancient competition where the ultimate prize is the coveted golden Garage Beer.
Filmed at the Florida Budokan in Eustis, FL, the content series is as authentic as it is absurd. Under the guidance of Chief Master Instructor (Shihan) Sabastian Velilla, this real dojo and its rich history bring the perfect cinematic backdrop for Garage Beer's wildest project yet.
"We're living in a time where beer drinkers are craving more than commercials—they want characters, they want stories, and they want to laugh," said Kelce. "I grew up loving martial arts movies, so we brought that genre back with a Garage Beer twist. This thing is completely unhinged in the best way."
BREWMITE will be released like a movie, with teasers, trailers, full-length content, behind-the-scenes features throughout April. And just like the movies that inspired it, it comes with a wave of nostalgic merch: embroidered jackets, hologram stickers, official posters, signed 8x10s, and even a limited-edition VHS release of the full two-part saga later this year.
One lucky viewer will win a cameo role in Part II and train (for real) with Chief Master Velilla—details dropping on social media in May.
As always, Garage Beer is putting fans first. The second installment of BREWMITE will adapt based on audience feedback, continuing the brand's commitment to co-creating with its community. And Jason's ultimate opponent, it might be someone he has known his entire life.
