Olde Mecklenburg Brewery–Capt. James Jack Pilsner

Coming out of OMB today we have the release of their summer seasonal Capt. James Jack Pilsner.  We brought you their other seasonals (Yule Bock & Dunkel) back in Nov so it’s fun to see this packaging approval today.  Capt. Jack is a “Classic northern German Pils (4.8% ABV) and is brewed to commemorate Capt. James Jack’s participation in the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence in 1775…one of the first such declaration in these former British colonies.  Details of the original release can be found here, but what’s really interesting today is that this is not only available in 22oz packaging, but also the odd sizes of 37oz and 74oz!
