Last weekend, Mrs Beerbuzz and I joined Carl
Achhammer, Bar Manager Bart and Urby’s, and John Humphrey, Lion Brewery Quality Assurance to judge the Bart & Urby’s Homebrew competition. We had 52 entries all judged on the following: (Scores based on a possibility of 50 points, judged on Aroma 12, Appearance 3, Flavor 20, Mouth feel 5, Overall impression 10. Times by 4 judges and you have a total of 200 possible points.
The results are in and the winners are:

2nd-Porter #2- “Porter”- 161.5 points -Joe Romanowski
