Two Brothers Brewing–Reprieve Schwarzbier Lager

image

I was the first to bring you the new Two Brothers Brewing logo & packaging changes back in Feb, so I’m excited to bring you the first peek at the first new artisan bottling beer for 2011 from Two Brothers Brewing (Warrenville, IL)...Reprieve Schwarzbier Lager.  We see quite a bit of Two Brothers in PA, so I’m cautiously optimistic this one will make it into our area.  This 28.1 IBU, 5.5% dark lager will be packaged in 22oz bottles and will be a limited release (coming in early April).

"”we spent a long night of brainstorming, around a few pints, to create a beer suitable to bid our good friends ado.  This black beer is a Bohemian Pilsner gone dark.  German malts, noble hops, and lager yeast combine for our take on this traditional beer style.  Though they may be moving on, we won’t let the lights go dark.”
