Widmer Drifter Pale Ale–MLS Portland Timbers Inaugural Season 2011

I’m a big fan of soccer and the MLS league in the states, and of course an even bigger fan of beer, so it was exciting to see Widmer Brothers Brewing but out a commemorative 22oz package to help celebrate the first season the Portland Timers soccer club will compete in the MLS.  WIdmer will be “the exclusive craft beer partner with the MLS” so watch for quite a bit of Widmer exposure during MLS games and watch to see if Kenny Cooper moving to the Timbers increases their goal scoring.  Clicky HERE for the Timbers press release.
