Flying Fish–Exit 9 Hoppy Scarlet Ale

image

Here’s you first look at the 7th release in the Flying Fish Exit Series, Hoppy Scarlet Ale.  This 9% bottle-conditioned brew will be packaged in 750ml bottles and should be out the first week of March….and like most Flying Fish beers, we should see it cross the border into PA.  Exit 9 is the Rutgers University exit on the NJ turnpike, so the guys @ Flying Fish brewed a Scarlet (aka Red) to celebrate their school colors.  “Assertively hopped with Amarillo, Centennial, Chinook and Citra, the bouquet has complex notes of citrus and tropical fruits, with an appropriate bitterness in the finish.”
