You know when you google a beer you’ve never heard of and only a hit on mybeerbuzz.com comes up, that this beer is Uber-New. So today I present to you the first peek at the label approval for Avery Dihos Dactylion Barrel-Aged Sour Ale. There aren’t many details to show off just yet, but I expect this one will be interesting. For those too lazy to google, Dactylion is defined as the “tip of the middle finger” so I expect this to be really sour. This will be a limited run, and if you believe the label, it will be bottled on Friday with only 225 cases produced. This 12oz packaged sour beer comes in at 10.25% and is aged in Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels. The brew uses Brett yeasts and imported specialty Belgian malted barley…stay tuned for more details.
