Hoppy Feet–Clown Shoes Black IPA

image
Now I’ll admit I haven’t tried any of Mercury Brewing’s Clown Shoes series of beers, but I simply love the packaging, and hopefully the beer is up to the marketing.  I’ve seen more than a few label approvals for Mercury brewing Clown Feet, and they’re all great.  This is the 22oz packaging for the black IPA…”Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted using bittersweet and roast malts.  West coast ops add complexity and balance.  We invite you to grab a glass, put up your feet and enjoy.”  As the label says, expect a bottling date in Jan 2011.  This label is registered by Frosty Knuckle Brewing Co / mercury brewing out of Ipswich MA.

imageAs an added bonus, here’s their Clementine White Ale (also approved today).  This is a 6% ABV traditional Belgian-style wit brewed with “Clementine essence.”
