It’s coming up on that time of the year again…and with the popularity of the new Brew Masters show, I thought I’d bring you the recently approved keg labeling of Dogfish Head Poppa Skull 2011. This is the DFH / 3-Floyds collaboration brew. For those unfamiliar it’s an ale brewed with Cardamom and 35% aged in brandy barrels. This is the 2nd batch of Poppa Skull, this one brewed in Milton, DE (rather than @ 3-Floyds in Indianan for the 1st batch). Look for this version to use the brandy barrels rather than the palo santo wood chunks used in the 1st version, and look for this brew to come in around 10% ABV. This beer was released in bottles to other markets a few weeks ago (not in PA), so hopefully this packaging means that we may see some of the kegs.
