Here’s an interesting 1/2-barrel label out of Sierra Nevada that I’m still chasing down details for. This label was approved on Friday and features a 5.4% ABV beer called EWE-96 Dark Lager. Stay tuned for more details to follow.

black lager "torpedoed" with saaz and another hop.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anon....have you tried it? Just curious where the info came from
ReplyDeleteI was a part of Beer Camp 38 when this was made. Here's the blurb SN created: "This black lager proves that beer cannot be judged by appearance alone. At first glance, the beer looks dark and heavy, but by contrast, it has more in common with a crisp and lightly hoppy German-style pilsner than a rich English Stout. Hop forward in aroma, this beer transitions briefly into a lightly smoky and roasted flavor that quickly gives way to a crisp and hoppy finish."
ReplyDeleteThis beer was "Torpedoed" with two types of hops.
Very cool...thanks for the info.
