From TRVR, Burial & The Commons:
What began as simply importing and distributing Burial Beer Co.for last year’s Great American Beer Festival, TRVE Brewing Co. has also agreed to act as the Colorado distribution partner for The Commons Brewery of Portland, Oregon.
The Commons, known for their yeast-forward, sessionable beers, is an apt addition to TRVE’s own distribution portfolio of approachable beers. “We’re extremely excited about this relationship,” said TRVE Brewing founder Nick Nunns. “During the Craft Brewers Conference of 2015 we made visits to The Commons almost daily. They stunned us with the quality of the beer they’re producing, and now we get to help introduce these great beers to beer drinkers in our home state.”
TRVE will also be bringing in another shipment of beers from Burial Beer Co. of Asheville, North Carolina, to coincide with the releases of their two collaborations. The first will be Ritual Knife, a Black Braggot brewed with honey and Colorado malt from Troubador Maltings, and aged in brandy barrels. The second, brewed at The Acid Temple, is a Dark Mixed Culture ale brewed with malt from Riverbend Malt House of Asheville, NC, and aged in barrels from Laws Whiskey House of Denver, CO.
TRVE Brewing is slated to receive shipments from The Commons and Burial Beer in early March. Tuesday, March 21st will mark Denver’s introduction to The Commons by way of a mini tap-takeover at their tasting room, followed by distribution to a limited number of accounts in the Denver area. Burial will be taking over the taps at TRVE on Thursday, March 23rd with another night sure to excite Colorado beer fans.
