Goose Island - The Illinois Imperial IPA

image Here’s an art-deck hop cone label and a new beer coming from Goose Island.  This beer is called The Illinois and it is an Imperial IPA that pays homage to a skyscraper designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that the city of Chicago never built.  Had it been built, it would remain the tallest building in the world even today.  The Illinois will be packaged in 12oz bottles and come in at 95 IBU and 9% ABV.

UPDATE:  This beer will be part of a series of Imperial beers to include 3 releases for the year.  This is the first release and it will arrive in mid February 2014 in 4-packs and sixtels.
