Foolproof Brewing (Formerly High Jinx Brewing) Opens It’s Doors in Pawtucket, RI

Foolproof Brewing in Pawtucket, RI opened it’s doors this past Saturday for their Grand Opening.  This is not only the story of a new craft brewery opening it’s doors, but also an interesting back story as Follproof was originally named High Jinx Beer and name conflicting with HiJinx Brewing in the Lehigh Valley, PA.  Looks like everything worked out, (although Foolproof still seems to have not changed their website address) and here are the opening details courtesy of The Valley Breeze:

Owner Nick Garrison, Brewmaster Damase Olsson and their Foolproof Brewing Company passed with flying colors at the grand opening of the Pawtucket brewery last Saturday, as visitors sipped the brewery's sample batch of beer and raised their glasses to those who made it.

It was not an easy ride, Garrison told the crowd of well-wishers at the event, but worth every ounce of effort he and dozens of others put into opening the brewery at 241 Grotto Ave.

From delays in the permitting process to a last-minute name change from High Jinx Brewery to Foolproof, Garrison overcame plenty of obstacles to make his dream come true, said friends and family.
