Exciting news for Funkwerks from the Daily Camera:
Funkwerks, which employs 11 people, doubled its brewing capacity last January when it added three new 15-barrel tanks. It increased again by nearly half as much in October with the addition of the brewery's first 30-barrel tank. Funkwerks also recently picked up its first distributor, American Eagle, which will help get its beer into new markets, including some surrounding states in 2013, Lincoln says.
"We're not going to be the next huge brewery or anything along those lines, but we'd certainly like to get bigger and fill out our capacity," he says. "The key is to keep up the quality and consistency of our product and meet the demand that we have as we enter new markets."
