here’s a new and interesting new brew from Pretty Things Beer & Ale called X-Ale (Once Upon a Time on November 22nd 1838—a brewer brewed a recipe in a now extinct London brewery. The veracity of this 74-year old X-Ale is thanks to the private research of Mr. Ron Pattinson, a resident of Amsterdam. In collaboration with Ron we present this beer with our Best Returns of the Day.) Yes that’s all label text. This looks to be the first of a series of beers called “Once upon a time: Beers From History" based on original brewday documents unearthed by Ron Pattinson. This X-Ale is a tale of two Mild ales…one brewed on Nov 22nd 1838 and this one brewed on Feb 13th 2012. This typical 1838 London Mild will be packaged in 22oz bottles…and watch for the 2nd beer in this series from Feb 22nd 1945…and as the label recommends you should drink the first two side-by-side. Confused yet?
To break the confusion here’s the new Baby Tree packaging!
